This National is an early product of the National Dobro Company founded in Los Angeles California August 16 xxxx. The serial numbers for this instrument began in xxxx sn100 and ended in xxxx snxxxx. This particular instrument sn is under xxxx it could be older than or newer than xxxx. The instrument is all original and sounds great there are a couple dents and some tarnish but its overall condition is very good for its age. I have seen other national style 1 square neck resonator guitars of this era sell for more with changed cones and tuners and in worse condition
